Acting as producer, writer, and lead actress, Madeline has finished post-production on the short film,You Can Be Good, under her newly founded production entity: A Blue Light Productions. From the night clubs of Los Angeles to a sacred temple devoted to the lioness goddess Sekhmet near the drone testing grounds in Nevada, You Can Be Good follows one woman’s search to find herself in relationship to the vastness of the universe as she copes with her identity in the modern world.
Her ultimate discovery is a very personal relationship with goodness: the idea that despite the suffering that exists within the human body and the suffering that is witnessed through the human experience, each moment there is an opportunity to choose to be good. In spite of everything we can choose to stand for the compassionate, the loving and the empowerment of all in this world.
In collaboration with director A.D. Freese and composer Jake Rose, Madeline convey’s a world that is intimate as well as vast: as full of embrace as it is of solitude. The film now begins it’s festival journey, check back for updates to come!
